We serve our congregation and our community through a variety of ministries … each meeting a particular need. HFC ministries are grouped by age and by purpose.

Adult Sunday School

9:30 – 10:30am — We have a variety of classes designed to meet the needs and interests of individuals who range in age from post college to senior adults.

Acts 2:42
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. — Acts 2:42
This biblically based, person-centered Sunday School class is a mini-lecture style class based on topics from the Nazarene quarterly material. David Alexander is the teacher. This class is for all age groups.

Biblical Topics
This class comprises all age groups. Dr. John Griffin selects a different topic each quarter and discusses the biblical basis for the topic. He uses a combination of lecture, questions and class participation.

Corner Fellowship
Now to each one the manifestation of the spirit is given for the common good. — 1 Corinthians 12:7
The individuals in this class are of all age groups, and include single adults and couples who are interested in biblical topical studies. Expect a highly interactive classroom environment with many opportunities to share and learn, facilitated by Loretta Kilgore.

Cornerstone
Jesus …’has become the cornerstone’. — Acts 4:11
The intention of this class is to allow God to mold and shape the life of our family through the insight of God’s Word. This is a discussion-oriented class, facilitated by Pastor Gordon Smith, with the objective of digging deeper into God’s Word.
