We serve our congregation and our community through a variety of ministries … each meeting a particular need. HFC ministries are grouped by age and by purpose.

Adult Sunday School

9:30 – 10:30am — We have a variety of classes designed to meet the needs and interests of individuals who range in age from post college to senior adults.

Acts 2:42
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. — Acts 2:42
This biblically based, person-centered Sunday School class is a mini-lecture style class based on topics from the Nazarene quarterly material. David Alexander is the teacher of this class for adults of all ages.

Wisdom from the Bible

Biblical Topics
Dr. John Griffin selects a different topic each quarter and discusses the biblical basis for the topic. He uses a combination of lecture, questions and class participation. He will soon begin a study of going through the Bible in a year. This class is available for adults of all ages.

Corner Fellowship
Now to each one the manifestation of the spirit is given for the common good. — 1 Corinthians 12:7
Corner Fellowship Class is starting an in-depth study of the book of Acts, the exciting story of the beginnings of the early church and its amazing effect on the New Testament world through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the story of those who fearlessly testified, “We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20)

Cornerstone
Jesus …’has become the cornerstone’. — Acts 4:11
The intention of this class is to allow God to mold and shape the life of our young families through the insight of Scripture. It is discussion-oriented and facilitated by members of the class on a rotating schedule, with the objective of digging deeper into God’s Word.
